People aged 19 and over in Staffordshire looking to gain new skills, improve their confidence or explore passions are being reminded about a range of courses now available.

Staffordshire Community Learning Service has launched its new term of courses for 2025 and with most fully funded and free, it’s the perfect opportunity for people to take the next step in their learning journey.

This year, numeracy and confidence with numbers take centre stage, with Staffordshire’s Multiply programme offering flexible, practical maths courses tailored to help residents manage every day tasks like budgeting, bills, and homework support.

Philip White, Staffordshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills, said: “These courses are more than just a chance to learn.

“They’re an opportunity to transform lives, families, and communities.

“Whether you’re returning to learning, supporting your family, or improving your skills for work, there’s a course tailored just for you.”

This term features a wide range of courses covering things like digital skills, science, engineering, maths, wellbeing and nature and family learning.

Courses are delivered in community venues across Staffordshire and remotely and people can find out more online.
