The annual Apprenticeship Awards celebrate the very best of the region’s learners, training providers, educators and employers.
The awards are run by Express & Star in partnership with the Ladder for the Black Country. They celebrate achievement across a range of categories.
Walsall Council apprentice Emma Hannon took home the top award from the first Ladder for the Black Country Apprenticeship Awards. Winners in a dozen individual categories were also revealed at the event attended by 285 guests.

The annual Apprenticeship Awards recognise the region’s rising stars from across a broad range of sectors.
They are a unique opportunity to honour apprentices from across the Black Country region working in sectors such as construction, professional services and healthcare will be recognised alongside employers and training providers.
